Lithuania October 2018: Fiat 500 up to 31.1% share in market up 20.9%

Almost 1 in every 3 new cars sold in Lithuania this month is a Fiat 500.

Thanks to our partnership with JATO Dynamics we can share with you today October sales for Lithuania. In contrast with the other two baltic states (Estonia and Latvia) still suffering from post-WLTP blues, the Lithuanian new car market is back to its splendid self this month with deliveries up a whopping 20.9% year-on-year in October to 2.800 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 26.3% to 27.128. This is mainly due to a handful of nameplates: the Fiat 500 surges 257% year-on-year to hit an out-of-this-world 31.1% share thanks to 870 sales ahead of the Skoda Octavia (+11%), while the Toyota C-HR (+188%) and RAV4 (+102%) are the other two great performers near the top of the sales charts. But the Fiat 500X (-85%) and Tipo (-59%) implode as does the VW Golf (-48%).

Previous month: Lithuania September 2018: Sales drop soft 8.3%, Toyota C-HR up to #2

One year ago: Lithuania October 2018: Fiat 500X up 233% to remain in 2nd place
