Israel October 2018: Dacia, Nissan, Hyundai shine in market up 7.7%

Thanks to our partnership with cartube.co.il, we can share with you today October brands data for Israel, models data is a quarterly occurrence. The Israeli new car market is up 7.7% to 21.356 units this month, leading to a year-to-date tally down 4.5% to 246.336. Kia (+32%) and Hyundai (+54%) surge ahead to top the brands ranking, both overtaking Toyota (-19%) down from #1 in September to #3 this month. Skoda (-6%) edges up one spot to #4 ahead of Nissan (+61%), Suzuki (-33%) and Renault (-11%). Many Top 25 carmakers post excellent result, led by Volvo (+97%), Dacia (+79%), Lexus (+70%), BMW (+63%), Mercedes (+48%), Peugeot (+39%), Honda (+36%), Citroen (+29%) and Mitsubishi (+20%). At the other end of the scale, Fiat (-53%), Volkswagen (-41%), Subaru (-31%), Ford (-26%) and Opel (-21%) tumble down.
