Kazakhstan July 2018: Lada best-selling brand in market up 22.3%

Lada sales surge 59% year-on-year in Kazakhstan in July.

The Kazakh new vehicle market soars 22.3% year-on-year in July to 5.224 units, lifting the year-to-date volume up 33.7% to 32.396 units. Lada (+59%) is back in pole position for the fifth time this year after January to April thanks to a market beating surge, with the entire podium frankly outpacing the market growth: Toyota (+36%) and Hyundai (+181%) also shine. Other great performers include Skoda (+717%), Subaru (+103%), JAC (+91%), Nissan (+33%) and Lexus (+30%). Model-wise, 5 of the Top 6 best-sellers outpace the market, led by the Toyota Camry (+26%), Lada Granta (+139%), Lada Largus (+88%) and Hyundai Tucson (+224%). The Lada Vesta soars 99% at #6, with the Toyota RAV4 (+60%), Prado (+56%), Hyundai Elantra (+193%) and Accent (+535%) also impressive further down.
