Luxembourg April 2018: BMW X1 and Audi A3 on podium

The BMW X1 surges to #2 overall in Luxembourg in April.

According to data released by our partner JATO Dynamics, new car sales in Luxembourg gain a solid 10.4% year-on-year to 5.371 units, lifting the year-to-date tally up 8% to 19.667 registrations. The VW Golf continues to post ultra-dominant figures thanks to sales more than doubling year-on-year in April (+107%) to 6.1% share vs. 4.6% year-to-date. The BMW X1 returns to the YTD Top 10 directly at #6, earning the 2nd spot for the month while the Audi A3 gains 25% year-on-year and five spots on March to land on the third step of the podium, now ranking #5 YTD. The VW Polo (+21%) and Mercedes GLC (+50%) round up the Top 5 while the VW Tiguan drops 18% to #6 but remains #2 YTD.
