Luxembourg March 2018: VW Golf leads, Mercedes GLC & A-Class shine

Discounts on the outgoing generation push the Mercedes A-Class up 92% in Luxembourg.

According to data released by our partner JATO Dynamics, the Luxembourg new car market edges up 3.6% year-on-year in March to 5.379 registrations, leading to a Q1 volume up 7.2% to 14.296 units. The VW Golf continues to dominate the models charts, up a stunning 69% year-onyear and selling almost double the #2, the VW Tiguan down 8%. The Renault Clio soars 37% but remains at #3, the Mercedes GLC is up 14% to now rank #4 YTD and the Mercedes A-Class surges 92% to #5, upgrading to #6 YTD. The Peugeot 3008 also shines at +111% in 7th place.
