Europe July 2017: Discover the Top 340 models and Top 57 brands

Final sales figures for Europe 27 markets (excluding Turkey and Russia) are now available for July, up 2.5% to 1.187.320 units which leads to a year-to-date total up 4% to 9.579.623, still the best at this stage of the year since 2008. There is one significant change in the brands Top 10 compared to preliminary figures published in late August: Renault overtakes Ford to snap the 2nd spot overall with deliveries up 8.4% vs. -8.6% for Ford. Further down, Kia (#15) ends up above Dacia, Infiniti (#36) above Tesla and Chevrolet (#42) above Ferrari. The rest of the ranking is confirmed.

The Peugeot 5008 is up to #82 in July. 

Model-wise, all three ranking records established with preliminary data still stand: the Skoda Octavia at #4, the Dacia Sandero at #7, the Toyota Yaris at #8 and the Peugeot 3008 at #17. The Renault Captur (#15) ends up above the Mercedes C-Class, the Ford Fiesta (#21) and Fiat Panda (#22) end up above the Skoda Fabia (#23), the Hyundai Tucson (#24) above the Seat Leon, the Ford Kuga (#27) above the Audi A4, the Renault Megane (#32) above the Mercedes A-Class, the Toyota C-HR (#40) above the Mercedes GLC and the Toyota Auris (#42) above the BMW 1 Series and VW Touran.

The Opel Ampera-e appears at #255. 

Beyond the Top 50, the Audi Q5 leaps up 31 spots on June to #52, the Mercedes GLA is up 11 to #58, the Audi A5 is up 58.1% to #71, the Peugeot 5008 up 106.3% to #82 thanks to the new model, the Opel Crossland X breaks into the Top 100 at #99, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio is up 37 ranks on last month to #142, ranking just below the Giulietta (#136) as Alfa’s 2nd best-seller in Europe, the Jeep Compass shoots up 79 spots to #170 now that the new generation is here, the Range Rover Velar is up 86 ranks to #178 and the Opel Grandland X up 31 to #258. Finally, we welcome in the official ranking the Opel Ampera-e at #255, the Lexus LC at #268 and the Aston Martin DB11 at #285.
