Kazakhstan July 2017: Toyota Camry back in pole position

Thanks to our partnership with autoconsulting.kz, we can share with you today July data for Kazakhstan. This market is now on the mend with sales up 26% year-on-year to 4.270 units, albeit on a very low base. The year-to-date tally remains in negative however, at -5% to a corrected 24.224 total. Toyota surges 57% to retain the top spot with a round 20% market share which is also its YTD share. Lada is up 11% to 18.3%, slightly above its YTD level of 18.1%. Newcomer Ravon is up one spot on June to #3 and 9.7% share, well above the 7% it commands YTD. Chevrolet is up 5-fold to #5, Lexus up 10-fold to #13, Lifan up 12-fold to #14 and Ssangyong up 9-fold to #15. Model-wise, the Toyota Camry (-6%) reclaims the top spot it holds YTD above the valiant Lada 4×4 (+38%) and the Ravon Nexia R3 back up 11 spots on June to #3. Lada also places the Granta at #5, the Largus at #6 and the Vesta at #10, the latter seemingly taking off finally. The Toyota Corolla is up 8 spots on last month to #8 and the Chevrolet Cruze up 13 to #9.
