Luxembourg January-May 2017: VW Tiguan up 170% to #2

The Luxembourg new car market is up 2.2% year-on-year over the first five months of 2017 to 23.723 deliveries. The VW Golf remains in the lead with sales edging up 1% but the best performance in the Top 10 is posted by the VW Tiguan up 170% to land in 2nd place overall vs. #7 over the Full Year 2016. The Renault Clio (+20%), Audi A3 (-2%) and BMW X1 (+35%) are mechanically all knocked down one spot vs. their FY2016 rankings. The Mercedes GLC is the second nameplate in the Top 10 to more than double its sales year-on-year at +115%.
