Colombia November 2016: Renault up 28%, Changan up 542%

New vehicle sales in Colombia are up 7% year-on-year in November to 22.415 registrations, yet the year-to-date tally remains in negative territory at -13% to 220.230 units. Chevrolet remains the most popular carmaker in the country and evolves roughly like the market at +5% to 5.203 sales and 23.2% share. Renault continues to frankly outperform the Colombian market with a 28% surge in November to 4.857 sales and 21.7% share while Kia struggles in third place, dropping 3%. Other great performers include Volkswagen (+20%), Suzuki (+54%), Ford (+63%), JAC (+71%), Honda (+71%), BMW (+77%) but most spectacularly Chinese carmaker Changan, up 6-fold on November 2015 and 19 spots on last month to soar to an incredible 11th position overall.
