Moldova July 2016: Mercedes GLE now in year-to-date Top 10

Based on data published by Central European market data specialists CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova are stable in July, up just 1% to 303 registrations, leading to a year-to-date total up 9% on the same period in 2015 to 2.137. The Dacia Logan reclaims the year-to-date leadership (it tied with the Hyundai Tucson as of last month) thanks to 8.3% share in July and 7.8% so far in 2016 with the Hyundai Tucson tucked into 2nd place in both July and YTD. The Hyundai Accent surges to 3rd place over, with the Santa Fe at #5 making it an impressive three Hyundais in the Moldovan Top 5. The Toyota RAV4 is up to #4, the VW Passat up to #8 and although it doesn’t appear in the July Top 10, the Mercedes GLE now ranks #10 year-to-date in Moldova, the only country in the world where it does so.
