Israel May 2016: Hyundai and Kia dominate in market up 22%

Thanks to our partnership with cartube.co.il we can now share with you brands data for Israel in May – models data is now a quarterly occurrence. The Israeli new car market continues on its very dynamic run this month with volumes up 23% year-on-year to 25.527 units, lifting the year-to-date total up 17% to 139.061 units. Hyundai (+17%) and Kia (+23%) continue to dominate, the only two brands above 10% market share this month at 14.9% and 14.5% respectively. Toyota (+2%) round up the podium at 9.8% share, followed by Skoda (+11%), Mitsubishi (+50%) and Mazda (+58%). Renault (+95%), Chevrolet (+54%), Peugeot (+49%), Fiat (+49%), Dacia (+59%), Ford (+84%), Volvo (+49%) and Ssangyong (+95%) also post spectacular year-on-year gains.
