Estonia returns on BSCB with more detailed data. You will find below the jump complete monthly by month sales from January to May 2016 for all brands and all models in the country. The overall Estonian new car market is up a splendid 16% year-on-year over the first five months of 2016 to 10.128 units and market leader Toyota frankly outpaces this growth to consolidate its leadership at +26% to 1.435 deliveries for a 14.2% market share. The Japanese carmaker is followed by Skoda (+15%), Renault (+15%), Volkswagen (+11%) and Honda (+5%), with Hyundai (+40%), Subaru (+48%), Mazda (+59%), Land Rover (+227%) and Alfa Romeo (+255%) posting particularly impressive gains. Model-wise, the Skoda Octavia reclaims the pole position off the Nissan Qashqai – #1 over the Full Year 2015 – thanks to 466 sales and 4.6% share vs. 455 and 4.5% for the UK-made SUV. The Toyota Avensis rounds up the podium followed by the Honda CR-V like in 2015, the VW Passat is up to #5, the Subaru Legacy up to #8, the Toyota RAV4 up to #9, Kia Sportage up to #12 and the Skoda Superb is up to #13. Among new models, the Hyundai Tucson (#35) and Renault Kadjar (#40) are the most popular.
