Each year shows Venezuela sinking further towards a total stop of car sales activity: January is down 43% year-on-year to just 387 units while February slumps 75% to 325 sales, pulling the year-to-date total down 64% to 712 registrations. Ford is the only manufacturer to maintain organised sales in the country with a relatively up-to-date lineup, accounting for 55% of the market in January and 81.2% in February. Scania reports a 100-unit delivery of trucks in January but falls to zero in February, when only Mitsubishi, Iveco and Mack also report sales.
