The Croatian new car market is up a very robust 17% year-on-year in February to 2.427 registrations, lifting the year-to-date total up 8% to 5.010 units. Volkswagen follows the market at +17% and 12.7% share, distancing Skoda (-15%) while Hyundai more than doubles its sales year-on-year (+107%) to land on the podium. The Korean manufacturer places three nameplates inside the Croatian Top 20 this month: the i30 (#7), Tucson (#14) and i20 (#18). Opel (+32%) but most strikingly Toyota (+78%), Ford (+113%) and Suzuki (+247%) lodge spectacular gains within the Top 10, the latter thanks to the new Vitara up one spot on January to an outstanding 2nd place overall. Below, notice also Mazda (+51%), Audi (+42%), BMW (+55%) and Volvo (+83%). Mazda in particular sees the 3 surge to #14 and the CX-3 break into the monthly Croatian Top 20 for the very first time.
