Another solid month for new car sales in Lithuania, up 10% year-on-year in July to 1.544 registrations, lifting the year-to-date total to 9.989 deliveries, up 15% on 2014. Fiat shoots up to 22.6% market share thanks to 349 sales, a very comfortable margin over the #2 Volkswagen at 215 units and 13.9%, with Toyota rounding up the podium at 11.9% above Nissan (7.2%) and Skoda (6%). Notice Subaru making its way inside the Top 10 in 10th position with 2.8% share. This brand evolution is heavily influenced by re-exports to other European Union countries and shouldn’t therefore be taken too literally. The Fiat 500 should in all likelihood keeps the models pole position in Lithuania over the period, not that it would be the most frequent car on Lithuanian roads however.
