Excellent month for new car sales in Poland, up 12% year-on-year in May to 31.430 registrations and single-handedly lifting the year-to-date total back into positive territory at 167.646 units, up 0.1% on 2014. Skoda remains sovereign in the brands ranking at 11.7% share, placing the Octavia (3.9%) and Fabia (improved again at 3.3%) atop the models sales charts. Mercedes is up 31%, Nissan up 23% year-to-date and Mazda holds onto its spot in the Top 15.
Model-wise, the Ford Focus is back on the podium after ranking #2 in February: up 9 spots on April to #3, the VW Passat is up 3 ranks to a fantastic 7th place, the Hyundai i20 is up 22 to #13, the Ford Mondeo up a further two to #15, the Mazda6 up 6 to #23 and the Suzuki Vitara down 7 to a still very satisfying #35.
