Slovenia March 2015: Nissan Juke teases Renault Clio for #1

The Slovenian new car market is definitely on the mend: up another 17% year-on-year in March to 5,958 registrations, bringing the first quarter total to 15,647 units, up 13% on 2014. Thanks to 919 sales and 15.4% share, Volkswagen reclaims the brands pole position off Renault at 853 and 14.3%, with Skoda, Nissan and Opel following as in the year-to-date order. Ford is up 6 spots on February to #6 and Fiat up 12 to #7. Year-to-date, Nissan (+97%), Suzuki and Dacia (both at +88%) are the biggest gainers in the Top 20 In the models ranking, the Nissan Juke is now teasing the Renault Clio for the overall #1 spot with 387 sales vs. 405, earning the controversially-designed Japanese SUV the 2015 year-to-date second spot above the VW Golf. The Renault Mégane is up 4 spots on February to #4, the Fiat 500 surges up to #7, the VW Passat brilliantly remains inside the Top 10 at #9 and the Ford Focus is up 20 to #10. Finally we welcome the Fiat 500X and Suzuki Vitara in the ranking, both rounding up the Top 80 with their first 15 units sold in Slovenia this month.
