Norway March 2015: Tesla Model S back up to #2 and 8.1% share

Norwegian new car sales are back into positive territory in March at +2% and 14,159 registrations, reducing the year-to-date drop to -3% at 35,367 deliveries. Below Volkswagen at 16.1% share and Toyota at 10.7%, Tesla climbs onto the brands podium this month with 1,140 Model S sold for a 8.1% market share, earning the nameplate a 2nd spot overall behind the VW Golf now that the 4WD variant is widely available.
The Renault Zoe is up to a record #14 in Norway this month.
The Nissan Leaf jumps up to third place with 526 sales and now ranks 5th year-to-date, the Ford Mondeo is up 8 to #8, the Volvo XC60 up 10 to #11 and the Volvo V70 up 13 to #12. Further down, the Renault Zoe breaks into the Norwegian Top 20 for the very first time, up 41 spots on February to a record #14 thanks to 228 sales and 1.6% share, the BMW X3 is up 25 to #23 and the Subaru Outback up a further two ranks to #35.
