Mexico February 2015: Market shoots up 22% to record level
The Chevrolet Matiz is inside the Mexican Top 10 for the 2nd straight month.

The Mexican new car market is evolving a record-breaking levels in 2015: up another 22% in February to a best-ever 97,558 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 201,255 units, also up 22% on 2014. Nissan stands its ground: up 23% to 25,286 registrations and 25.9% share above Chevrolet (+21%), Volkswagen (+10%) and FCA Mexico (+19%). Toyota (+26%), Honda (+50%) and Mazda (+63%) impress while Hyundai is getting back up close the Top 10 at #11 and 1.6% share. Model-wise, the Chevrolet Aveo dominates once again, ahead of the Nissan Versa (+31%) and VW Vento (+57%) while the Chevrolet Spark (+36%), Nissan March (+60%), Nissan Sentra (+33%) and Chevrolet Matiz (+206% year-to-date) flex their muscles.
