Serbia October 2014: Lada Niva inside Top 5 best-sellers

According to Central European market data specialists www.ceauto.co.hu, 1,524 new cars found a buyer in Serbia in October, bringing the year-to-date total to 17,129 deliveries. The Skoda Fabia is toppled off its throne by its larger stablemate the Octavia, leader in Serbia this month with 5.3% share but still #3 YTD. The Fiat 500L, produced locally, remains #2 both in October and YTD while the Fabia is down to #3 but holds onto the YTD crown, the only nameplate selling over 1,000 units so far this year in the country. Below the Fiat Ducato still strong at #4, the Lada Niva tells everyone it’s not dead yet by ranking at an impressive #5 with 3.1% share, making Serbia one of the last countries in the world along with Russia where the 37-year old design is still enjoying relative success…
