81.777 new cars were purchased by private buyers in Germany in November, a 32.7% Private Sales (PS) ratio, frankly below the year-to-date level of 36.4%. The podium is back to its year-to-date 100% Volkswagen self with the Golf in the lead at 28.9% PS ratio, above the Polo (48.6%) and the Tiguan (45%), all PS ratio being lower than their YTD levels. The Mercedes C-Class is up one further spot to step into 4th place and now ranks 5th year-to-date despite a low 33.3% November PS ratio. It is followed by the A-Class (55.6%) while the Opel Mokka is up 9 spots on October to a fantastic 7th place with 1,423 sales even though its PS ratio (42.2%) is over 10 percentage points below its YTD level (54.4%). The Mokka was purchased privately more than twice as often any other Opel: the Corsa is #30 at 658 deliveries and the Astra #45 at 532. Finally, the Seat Leon leads ‘foreigners’ at #11 ahead of the Skoda Octavia (#12), Seat Ibiza (#13), Nissan Qashqai (#16), Skoda Yeti (#17), Fabia (#19), Dacia Sandero (#22) and Duster (#23).
