For the first time since November 2012 and the 2nd time ever, the VW Polo is the most popular model in the country this month with 1,616 sales and 4.3%, up 12 spots on January. It is the 4th time a Volkswagen tops the Turkish models ranking in the last 18 months after the Jetta did so in January and October 2013.
Renault brilliantly places 3 models in the Top 4 in February: the Clio is up 10 ranks on last month to a splendid 2nd place at 1,337 units and 3.8%, ahead of the Fluence at 1,325 sales and #1 year-to-date at 3,126 units and 4.6% and the Symbol at #4 with 1,265 sales and 3.6%. The Fiat Fiorino LCV continues to progress, up a further 3 spots to #5 and now #4 year-to-date vs. #14 in 2013! Volkswagen also manages to place the Passat at an outstanding 6th place vs. #16 in FY2013 and the Golf at #8 vs. #18… Leader in 2013, the Fiat Linea is down to a surprisingly low 7th place this month and only ranks 6th year-to-date so far. Notice also the Nissan Qashqai shooting up 47 spots to #10 and the Audi A3 Sedan up 26 to #30.
