New Zealand November 2013: Toyota RAV4 back up to 4th place

Another record-breaking month for new car sales in New Zealand, up a massive 22% year-on-year in November to 10,388 registrations, which brings the year-to-date total to 104,448 units, up 12% on 2012 and already above the Full Year 2012 total of 100,794! New light commercial vehicles are up a huge 40% on November 2012 to hit 2,935, the highest November figure since records began in 1981 and the third month in a row it delivers a monthly best! The Toyota Corolla still reigns supreme and snaps the top spot for the third consecutive month and the 7th time in the last 12 months thanks to 626 sales and 6% share, ahead of the Toyota Hilux at 5.6% and the Ford Ranger at 4.6%.
Toyota places 3 models inside the New Zealand Top 4 this month, with the RAV4 back up two spots on October to land at #4 with 2.9% share. The Holden Colorado is up one further spot to #6 with 2.5% share, in-between the Holden Commodore and Mazda CX-5, up 6 ranks to #7. Notice also the Mitsubishi Lancer up 8 to #15, Toyota Highlander up to #18, Ford Kuga up to #21 and the Holden Cruze dropping out of the best-sellers chart…
