Hong Kong (China) November 2013: BMW 3 Series leads the way

New car sales in Hong Kong (China) are up 5% year-on-year in November to 4,392 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 43,718 units, up a magnificent 12% on 2012. This month the BMW 3 Series takes the lead of the models ranking thanks to an excellent 236 sales and 5.4% share, more than double its year-to-date level. The Toyota Hiace, #2 this month, remains the best-seller so far in 2013 at 2,034 units and 4.7% ahead of the BMW 5 Series, #3 in November, with 1,826 sales and 4.2% and the Mercedes E-Class at 1,575 units and 3.5%. The Toyota Wish excels, up 11 spots on October to #5 with 150 sales and 3.4%, the BMW 1 Series is stable at #8 vs. #14, the BMW X1 is up 7 ranks to #14, the VW Touran back inside the ranking at #25, the Mitsubishi ASX up a further 5 spots to #26 vs. #59 year-to-date, Lexus ES stable at #27 vs. #81 year-to-date and the BMW 4 Series at a world-best #33.
