Denmark November 2013: Citroen C4 Picasso & Renault Captur up

For once new car sales in Denmark are down year-on-year at -3% in November to 15,896 registrations. However the year-to-date total still stands at a record 167,941 units, up 5% on 2012. 16th consecutive month of reign for the VW Up! with 900 sales and 5.7%, now adding up to 11,760 units and 7% share year-to-date, which is already an all-time annual volume record ahead of its own 10,632 sales over the Full Year 2012. The third best annual volume was delivered by the Toyota Carina back in 1994 (9,635 units)… The Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo complete a podium 100% ‘micro’ cars while the Renault Clio at #4 and Skoda Octavia at #5 both deliver solid performances.
The Renault Captur breaks into the Danish Top 20 for the first time this month.
A few recent launches are stepping up a notch this month: the Citroen C4 Picasso is up 7 spots on October to rank equal #12 with 294 sales and 1.8%, the Renault Captur breaks into the Danish Top 20 for the first time, up 23 ranks to #20, the Nissan Note is up 15 to #23 thanks to the new generation and the Peugeot 2008 is up 21 to #28. Notice also the Tesla Model S breaking into the Top 100 for the first time at #89 with 32 sales and the VW e-Up! making its first appearance in the ranking at #112 with 16 units sold.
