New Caledonia (France) July 2013: Dacia Duster in the lead

888 new vehicles found a buyer in July in New Caledonia, an overseas French territory North-East of Australia, bringing the year-to-date total to 6,169 units after 7 months. The Dacia Duster manages to take the lead of the models ranking this month thanks to 66 sales and an outstanding 7.4% share vs. 64 for the Ford Ranger which however remains the best-seller year-to-date by far at 499 units and 8.1%, followed by the Toyota Hilux with 362 sales and 5.9% and the Dacia Duster at 313 units and 5.1%.
Now that we have access to a Top 50 models year-to-date, let’s have a look at the biggest gainers on the archipelago: the Isuzu D-Max is up 32 spots compared to its Full Year 2012 ranking at #6 with 146 sales and 2.4%, the Citroen Berlingo is up 6 to #8, the Suzuki Swift up 8 to #12, Peugeot Partner up 10 to #17, Toyota Yaris up 63 to #19, Dacia Sandero up 17 to #27, Nissan Micra up 56 to #29, Ford F150 up 29 to #32, Subaru Forester up 19 to #36 and the Peugeot 208 up 41 to #40. Notice also the Peugeot 301 lading at #39 with 44 sales.
