With a little bit of delay I can now share with you Light Commercial Vehicles June sales data for China. This segment is  up a healthy 4% year-on-year this month to 400,713 registrations, which would make it the third biggest market in the world behind only China and the US if this was a country… Year-to-date the total stands at 2,709,911 units, also up 4%. The Wuling Sunshine confirms it has now stopped its sales haemorrhage, gaining 9% on June 2012 to 40,077 sales, which brings its year-to-date total to 260,826 units, down 8% on 2012.

The best performer this month is by far the ChangAn Minibus, up 3 spots on May thanks to the new generation of the model (aka Chana Star) to land in second place with 34,023 sales, up a fantastic 26% on June 2012 when it also ranked #2. It is now #3 year-to-date thanks to 200,242 units, also up 26% on 2012.
