As is the tradition on BSCB, we are following the evolution of 1-ton pick-up sales in Thailand, where most of them are manufactured for the rest of the world. 60,294 new pick-ups found a buyer in Thailand in February, bringing the year-to-date total to 159,781. After 4 months of intense fight that saw the Isuzu D-Max take the lead twice (in December and February), the Toyota Hilux frankly reclaim its throne in March, selling 22,595 units vs. 19,494 for the D-Max and also regaining the year-to-date lead at 57,592 sales (+2%) vs. 55,538 (+24%). The other great performer this month is the Nissan Navara, doubling its market share vs. February to 7.8% thanks to 4,727 units sold at #4.
