Taiwan April 2013: Toyota Corolla and RAV4 on top

New car sales in Taiwan are up a timid 1% year-on-year in April to 28,844 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 119,131 units, down 4% on 2012. After an unusually weak month of March, the Toyota Corolla is back to its traditional heights this month at 2,836 units and 9.8%, while the Toyota RAV4 continues to impress: it ranks #2 for the second month in a row with 1,480 sales and 5.1% and is now #4 year-to-date. The Nissan Livina is up 2 spots to climb inside the podium at #3 with 1,458 units and 5.1% also.
The Toyota Wish remains solid at #4 with 1,404 sales and 4.9% and is still #2 year-to-date. Notice also the Ford Focus holding itself within the Taiwanese Top 10 at #10, the Hyundai ix35 up 9 spots on March to #14 and the Mercedes C-Class stable at #15.
