Can the Greek market dive further down? It seems it can: after hiving us a flicker of hope last month with a 21% year-on-year gain, over the first half of May, new car sales are down 35% year-on-year to just 1,082 registrations, however 48% or 519 of these are fleet sales so Greek consumers have actually only bought 563 new cars over the period! Toyota leads the way with 12% share ahead of Volkswagen at 11.6% and Opel at 8.3%. Notice Fiat up to #6 and Suzuki up to #9.
