Iceland November 2012: Toyota Yaris reclaims top spot

This month Iceland is the first country to make its November sales figures available: 548 new vehicles found a buyer in the country, bringing the year-to-date total to 7,926. After 2 months of reign of the Skoda Octavia, the Toyota Yaris is back in pole position with 43 sales and 7.8% share, 40% of which are hybrids, reinforcing its 2012 leadership at 514 units and 6.5%. The Skoda Octavia still shines at #2 with 37 sales and 6.8% vs. 488 and 6.2% year-to-date. Like in the 2012 ranking, the VW Polo rounds up the podium at 28 units and 5.1%.

Renault Clio

Other great performers this month in Iceland include the VW Caddy at #6 vs. #23 year-to-date, the VW Tiguan at #8 vs. #24, the Kia Sorento at #9 vs. #22, Renault Clio at #11 vs. #62 and Peugeot 208 at #14 vs. #55. The Dacia Duster ranks #15 for its first full month of sales with 8 units and 1.5% while the Skoda Citigo is #22 with 7 sales.
