New car sales in Slovenia are looking worse by the minute, with September down 29% year-on-year to just 3,203 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 38,707 units, down 17% on 2011. The Renault Clio is in pole position for the 2nd month in a row and the 7th time this year with 141 sales and 4.4% which is however way lower than its 2012 year-to-date level at 5.6%. #1 in July but #33 in August, the Renault Scenic is back up to 2nd place this month at 114 units and 3.6%, and is now #9 year-to-date. Very solid showing of the Skoda Octavia at #3 and 3.3%.
A few other models shine in the Top 10: the Peugeot 308 is up 4 spots to #5 and 3%, the Peugeot 208 stays #7 at a record 2.7% share, the Chevrolet Aveo is up top #8 vs. #16 year-to-date and the Hyundai i30 is up 12 ranks to #9.
