Indonesia October 2011: Toyota Avanza leads, Fortuner #10

A massive 86,345 new cars were registered in Indonesia in October, this has to be one of the highest monthly volumes ever for the country. No surprises on top: the Toyota Avanza leads with 14,591 sales and 16.9% share, ahead of its twin the Daihatsu Xenia at 5,739 units and 6.6%. Just below is the Toyota Innova with 5,644 sales and 6.5%.

Excellent performance of the Nissan Grand Livina up to #4 at 3,398 units and 3.9%, ahead of the Suzuki APV at 3.8%. This means the entire Indonesian Top 5 this month is composed of minivans! The Toyota Rush ranks #6 at 3.1% and the Honda Jazz is the #1 passenger car again at #7 with 2,317 sales and 2.7%. Notice the Toyota Fortuner, helped by the new generation arriving in dealerships, making an appearance in the Top 10 at #10 with 1,289 units and 1.5%.
