Slovenia Full Year 2010: Renault Clio and Megane dominate

The Slovenian car market is up 6% in 2010 at 59,226 registrations. Renault places 2 models at the top of the sales this year: the locally-built Clio is the best selling car in Slovenia again with 4,011 units and 6.8% (+10%), interestingly this is the only country in the world where the Clio is #1. With stable sales, the Megane gains 1 spot at #2 with 2,789 units and 4.7%.

The VW Polo rounds up  the podium at 2,445 sales and 4.1%, an increase of 86% over 2009 thanks to the new generation, ahead of the VW Golf (3.9%) and Opel Astra (3.4%). The Chevrolet Cruze (#18), Hyundai i20 (#26), Hyundai ix35 (#27) and Renault Twingo (#30) are new entrants in the Top 30.
