Latvia 10 months 2010: Golf #1, Land Cruiser #3

After having lost no less than 73% in 2009, the Latvian car market is shyly recovering in 2010 with +15% over the first 10 months of the year at 3,905 registrations.

The VW Golf leads the pack by a very large margin with 216 sales and 5.5% of the market. Like in neighbours Norway and Finland, the Toyota Avensis is a hit, #2 in Latvia with 3.1%, just one unit ahead of the Land Cruiser, which delivers a very solid performance in Latvia.

The Peugeot Partner also shines in #4 at 2.9%, followed by the Toyota RAV4. Very strong performance from the extravagant BMW X6 landing in 30th position with close to 1%!
