Venezuela 1998: Toyota Corolla overtakes Chevrolet Corsa to #1

175,750 new vehicles found a buyer in Venezuela in 1998, stable on the past year (+0.4%). Chevrolet leads the brands ranking with 25.5% share ahead of Ford at 16.6%, Toyota at 14% and the Chrysler Group at 11.4%. The Top 4 models all lose volume on the year prior. The Toyota Corolla (-10.1%) overtakes the Chevrolet Corsa (-21.1%) to snap the annual pole pile position. The Chevrolet  Blazer (-10%), Ford Explorer (-1.8%) and Chevrolet Cavalier (+2.7%) all pass the Chrysler Neon (-31.8%) while the Toyota Starlet (+33.2%) and Hyundai Excel (+25.3%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 10.
