Slovakia 1996: Skoda Felicia #1, Daewoo holds 19% share
The Daewoo Espero ranks #3 in Slovakia over H1 1996.
24,836 new cars hit Slovak roads over the First Half of 1996. Skoda is the best-selling brand with 29.4% share and thanks to one model: the Felicia. Daewoo ranks 2nd with a spectacular 19% share, distancing Volkswagen at 8.8%. Fiat and Seat round out the Top 5, while Lada is down to #8 with 3.5% share.
Over in the models charts, below the Skoda Felicia we find three Daewoo’s: the Nexia at 7.4% share, the Espero at 5.8% and the Tico at 5.8% also. The Fiat Punto follows at #5 ahead of the Opel Corsa, VW Polo and VW Golf. The Seat Cordoba ranks #9.
