The FSM Syrena 105 is #1 in Poland in 1974.
Thanks to one of our readers Jakub Gurba we can share with you today the oldest data so far for Poland, in 1974. As expected for the time, the Top 10 is entirely composed of cars from the Eastern Block of countries, with all locals on the podium. The FSM Syrena 105 is the most popular vehicle in the country in 1974. This car was produced by the Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych (FSO) from 1957 to 1972 and by the Fabryka Samochodów Małolitrażowych (FSM) from 1972 to 1983. A total of 521,311 units were produced under the 100, 101, 102, 103 and 105 Series. During its 26-year career, only minor modifications were given to the original design.
The Polski Fiat 125p ranks #2 in Poland in 1974.
In second place we have the Polski Fiat 125p, a Fiat 125 manufactured locally under Fiat licence, and the Polski Fiat 126p in third position, a Fiat 126 manufactured locally.
