Launched in 1960, the Fiat 600 is met with amazing success in Argentina, even being the best-selling car in the country in 1969 and 1970. It would be produced to a massive 300,000 units over its 22 year career, staying in production until 1982.
Peugeot 504
1969 was a fertile year in Argentina: the Peugeot 504 launched its production that year and it has become the most popular car in Argentina’s history, with 496,693 units produced between 1969 and 1999, just above the Ford Falcon at 494,208 units.
