Fiji is an Pacific island nation composed of 332 islands and more than 500 islets located about 2.000 km (1.300 mi) northeast of New Zealand’s North Island. Almost 90% of the 860.000 inhabitants live in the two major islands, Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. Fiji has one of the most developed economies in the Pacific due to an abundance of forest, mineral, and fish resources, and this translates into a more new car market with 18 manufacturers sharing official sales figures.

Fiji is located about 2.000 km (1.300 mi) northeast of New Zealand’s North Island with Vanuatu to the west and New Caledonia to the southwest. It is composed of 332 islands, of which 110 are permanently inhabited, and more than 500 islets. However the two major islands, Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, account for almost 90% of the population of almost 860,000. Fiji has one of the most developed economies in the Pacific due to an abundance of forest, mineral, and fish resources, and this translated into its new car market of 3.051 registrations in 2014, a lot more diversified than most South Pacific nations with 13 manufacturers sharing official sales figures.
