Croatia April 2024: Skoda (+66.6%), Opel (+58.7%) stand out in market up 13.5%

Opel Corsa sales are up 91.7% year-on-year in April.

Solid result for Croatian new car sales in April, up 13.5% year-on-year to 7,083 units. The year-to-date tally is now up 14.4% to 22,288. Skoda (+66.6%) posts another outstanding gain to firmly hold onto the brands pole position with 16.3% share. Renault (+7.4%) is dislodged from the #1 spot it held last month to fall to #2. Used to on and off performances, April is an “on” month for Opel up 58.7% year-on-year and seven spots on last month to #3. BMW (+119.2%) sports the largest gain in the Top 10, with Hyundai (+76.4%), Toyota (+62.8%) and Suzuki (+44.5%) also in fantastic shape.

Over in the models lane, the Skoda Octavia (+87%) threepeats at #1 with a dominant 8.3% share vs. 7% year-to-date. The Renault Clio (+65.7%) remains in 2nd place while the Opel Corsa (+91.7%) surges up 16 spots on March to #3. The Suzuki Vitara (+86.7%) drops one rank on last month to #4 but secures a flamboyant year-on-year evolution. The Skoda Kamiq (+137.2%) does even better and lands at #5 vs. outside the March Top 20. The Toyota Yaris Cross (+243.3%) and VW T-Cross (+87.2%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 10 while the Dacia Jogger (+61.1%) advances to #12.
