Jordan November 2017: Kia Frontier at 24.9%, Hyundai Ioniq up to #6
One in every four vehicles registered in Jordan in November is a Kia Frontier.

The Jordanian new car market shoots up 32.6% year-on-year in November to 5.157 registrations, switching the year-to-date volume into positive territory at +1.6% to 40.840 units. At #2 year-to-date, Kia takes the lead of the brands ranking in Jordan this month at 28.9% share vs. 24.2% YTD, whole Toyota is up to #2 with 23.6% of the market vs. 20% so far this year and YTD leader Hyundai is down to #3 and 21.4% vs. 25.9% YTD. This means these three manufacturers hold a mammoth 73.9% of the entire Jordanian market this month vs. 70.1% over the first 11 months of the year. Lexus is up to #4 and 5.1% share vs. #7 and 2.9% year-to-date, Isuzu is up to #5 and 4.9% vs. #6 and 3.6%, Mitsubishi is down two spots to #6, Suzuki up four to #8, Renault up 5 to #11 and Citroen up 6 to #16.
Over in the models ranking, the Kia Frontier is up 5-fold on November 2016 to reach an incredible 24.9% share: 1 in 4 vehicles registered this month in Jordan were a Kia Frontier! The Toyota Land Cruiser does even better with sales up 14-fold year-on-year while the Hyundai Sonata is up 177% and the Lexus LX up 31-fold. If the Hyundai Elantra freefalls 58% to #5, the Ioniq gains 70% to rank at a very impressive 6th place. The Nissan Kicks (#24) and Kia Niro (#39) are the only other recent launches in the Top 50 this month.
