Model-wise, the Kia Picanto reclaims the top spot it held in both 2013 and 2015 despite deliveries down a harsh 12% to 4.2% share. That’s better than the 17% drop endured by last year’s leader, the Kia Sportage, down to #2 in 2017. In fact the Top 4 best-seller all display double-digit declines wit the Hyundai Tucson down 22% and the Toyota Corolla down 16%. The Skoda Octavia gains one spot and 3% to #5 but the best performer in the Top 10 is the Hyundai Ioniq launched in late 2016 and ranking at #6 for its first full year in market, its best annual ranking in the world. The Renault Clio also impresses by more than doubling its sales year-on-year and leaping 20 spots to #10. Another strong gainer is the Kia Niro up to #21 for its first full year also. The best-selling new launch in Israel for 2017 is the Toyota C-HR landing directly at #17, ahead of the Suzuki Ignis (#36), Skoda Kodiaq (#49) and Seat Ateca (#66).
