Ukraine November 2017: Kia Sportage #1, Mazda CX-5 up to #5

The Ukrainian new car market marks a pause in its recovery in November with sales down 0.7% year-on-year to 7.677 units, but the year-to-date volume remains a frank improvement on the same period in 2016 with deliveries up 26.1% and up 78% on 2015 but down 18.3% on 2014 and down 62.8% on 2013. Toyota is once again the most popular carmaker in the country and the only one above 10% share at 10.9%, distancing Renault (9.8%) while Skoda (7.9%) outsells Volkswagen (7.7%) unlike year-to-date. Audi is up to #7, Ravon up to #12, Volvo up to #20 and Honda up to #24. Model-wise, after a freak October charts, the Kia Sportage reclaims the pole position it holds year-to-date, ahead of the Toyota RAV4 (+72%), Renault Duster (making the November podium 100% SUV) and Skoda Octavia (both up 7%). The Renault Logan, #2 YTD is down 14% to #6 this month all the while the Mazda CX-5 shoots up 139% to 5th place. Notice also the Ravon R2 up 80% to #7, the Audi A3 up 26-fold to #10 and the Mercedes GLE up 64% to #12.
