Luxembourg October 2017: VW Golf and Mercedes C-Class shoot up

The Mercedes C-Class is up 171% year-on-year to #3 in Luxembourg this month.

The Luxembourg new car market is up 9.2% year-on-year in October to 4.670 sales, lifting the year-to-date tally up 4.3% to 45.542 units. Not content with leading the overall sales charts, the VW Golf also posts a stunning performance this month with deliveries up 158% year-onyear to 5.3% share. It is followed by the Renault Clio down 51% to 2.8% and the Mercedes C-Class up 171% to 2.8%. The Audi A3 (-6%) and VW Tiguan (-7%) also deliver three-digit sales figures in Luxembourg in October, rounding up the Top 5. The Hyundai Tucson (+49%) is the other Top 10 nameplate in positive this month, earning the 9th place YTD as a result.
