Venezuela November 2016: Fortuner and Corolla top market down 82%

The Toyota Fortuner is the best-selling vehicle in Venezuela in November.

The Venezuelan new car market remains stuck close to standstill with 236 sales in November (one more than October), down 82% year-on-year, the same decline/crash rate for YTD figures at 2.833. Ford (44.9%) and Toyota (43.6%) are once again the only survivors, with Scania tagging along this month at 27 deliveries. The Toyota Fortuner and Corolla lead the models ranking above the year-to-date leader, the Ford Explorer. Note however that the Fortuner sold in Venezuela is the previous generation of the nameplate.
