Israel October 2016: Hyundai and Kia dominate market down 35%

Hyundai remains the best-selling brand in Israel.

Thanks to our partnership with cartube.co.il, we can share with you brands data for Israel in October, models data now comes quarterly. After surging 67% in September, Israeli new car sales fell the pain this month at -35% to just 13.612 units, pulling the year-to-date gains down to +6%, this figure was +20% a month ago. Hyundai remains the most popular manufacturer in the country by just 43 units at 1.868 sales (-35%), edging past sister brand Kia at 1.825 (-34%) with Toyota at 1.703 (-23%) rounding up the podium. Inside the Top 30, only Citroen (+4%), Seat (+30%), Infiniti (+31%), Ssangyong (+54%), Honda (+60%) and Ford (+179%) register year-on-year growth, with Lexus (-67%), Nissan (-60%), Mazda (-58%) and Subaru (-55%) hit particularly hard.
