UK Full Year 2015 – LCV: Ford Transit Custom & Vauxhall Vivaro on top

For the first time in four years on BSCB we can share with you the best-selling Light Commercial Vehicles in the UK. The Ford Transit nameplates holds onto the top spot for the 51st consecutive year, albeit in its “Custom” form now at almost 43.000 sales. The Vauxhall Vivaro is a fair bit of distance below at 27.400 units while the “original” Transit lurks in third place with 26.200 deliveries.

The Mercedes Sprinter and VW Transporter round up the Top 5, with Peugeot placing two nameplates inside the Top 10: the Partner (#8) and Boxer (#10). The Toyota Hilux (+4%) dominates the pick-up market again – ranking just outside the overall LCV Top 10 – but its advantage over the Mitsubishi L200 (+30%) has thawed to just 217 units while the new generation boosts the Ford Ranger up 47% to #14 overall.
