After studying the Top 10 rankings, as is the tradition on BSCB we now go into the fully detailed sales charts for Europe. Brand-wise, final figures edge Ford back up to 2nd place above Renault at 78.792 sales vs. 78.767 but the rest of the Top 10 is confirmed, notably with Mercedes (+19%) outselling both BMW (+11%) and Audi (+4%). Volvo (+22%), Mazda (+38%) and Suzuki (+25%) top gains inside the Top 20 while outside, honours go to Jeep (+50%) thanks to the Renegade (#83), Smart (+71%) thanks to the Forfour (#118), Land Rover (+74%) thanks to the Discovery Sport (#86), Jaguar (+83%) thanks to the XE (#134), Ssangyong (+86%) thanks to the Tivoli (#199), Tesla (+143%) and Cadillac (+179%).
In the models ranking, there is one change in the Top 10 compared to the original figures we published: the VW Passat does an even better month at +87% and reclaims the 5th spot it also held in October off the Opel Corsa. The rest remains the same. Among recent launches, the Renault Kadjar is up 7 spots on October to 9.031 sales, outselling the Scénic (8.005) and Mégane (7.858) for the first time to become Renault’s third best-seller below just the Clio (#3) and Captur (#15). The Fiat 500X (#36) and Hyundai Tucson (#37) post their highest European rankings so far, with the BMW 2 Series Active/Gran Tourer also strong at #38 and the Mercedes GLC up 39 spots to #62. The Subaru Levorg (#204) and Renault Talisman (#209) make their first appearance in the charts.
