Taiwan November 2015: Top 4 is 100% Toyota, Nissan X-Trail up to #5

New car sales in Taiwan are up 3% year-on-year in November to 34.855 registrations, however the year-to-date total is still down at -1% to 378.085 units. Toyota is sovereign as per usual despite sales down 2% with 31.3% market share, while Nissan-Infiniti and Mitsubishi-CMC continue to cross each other over, this time Nissan winning with 3.762 sales vs. 3.213 and reclaiming the #2 spot year-to-date. Mazda stays strong in 5th place, Mercedes keeps BMW (+11%) at bay and local manufacturer Luxgen remains in 9th place with 1.191 sales. Model-wise, Toyota monopolises the Top 4 with the Corolla (11.3%), RAV4 (5.9%), Yaris (3.9%) and Wish (3.1%) while the Nissan X-Trail shoots back up 8 spots on October to land in 5th place with 999 deliveries vs. #16 year-to-date. Notice also the Ford Focus down 19 to #22, the Lexus RX up to #25, the Skoda Fabia at #32 and the Hyundai Verna making its first appearance inside the Taiwanese ranking at #43.
